Today, we would like to share our impressions
from the first workshop conducted by SynZ in
collaboration with the MEA Hospital.
Workshop "How to deal with Burnout
Syndrome...," which organized for academic
personnel of MEA.
The workshop comprised a variety of
interesting activities, including assessing work
happiness, utilizing Pomodoro technique for
effective time management, achieving work-life
balance, understanding different personalities,
and enhancing self-awareness. These activities
significantly contributed to improving the
quality of teamwork and collaboration.

The work of music therapists involves using music to help individuals convey feelings that may be difficult to express verbally.
In this article, SynZ ME will have a conversation with K' Chalat
(Moo), the owner of the "Music Therapy" Facebook page, which
utilizes musical instruments to work with people's minds and
emotions.
1. The journey of becoming a music therapist?
When I was a child, I used to have thoughts of wanting to
become a doctor, but I didn't want to study autopsies. So, I
abandoned that idea. However, since I had been involved with
music since junior high school, when it was time to enter
university, I wanted to find a major that would allow me to
pursue both medicine and music. I heard about music therapy
and tried to find information about it, but back then, there
was very little information available. I didn't know how to start
or where to study. It wasn't until after completing my
undergraduate degree that I had the opportunity to perform
concerts with Suanplu Chorus in Europe...

“Flower Arranging for Mind Healing”
How is flower arranging linked to mental health ?
1. The 'aroma' of flowers helps reduce cortisol levels,
which contribute to stress, and can induce the release
of endorphins (happiness hormones). When we smell
flowers, we tend to feel calm, relaxed, and happier.
For example, lavender helps lower heart rate and
blood pressure, promoting a sense of tranquility and
better sleep.
2. 'Color' has an impact on emotions and feelings, just
like the colors of flowers. For example, red
symbolizes love and passion, white symbolizes
calmness, and yellow symbolizes freshness.
Understanding the emotions associated with colors
allows flower arrangements to be more enjoyable,
creative, and meaningful, aligning with the intended
feelings.
